Bird Netting

Bird nets are an effective bird deterrent providing a discreet and impenetrable barrier that protects the premises without harming the birds.

Our Bird net system is one of the most effective and long lasting ways of bird proofing buildings and other structures against all urban bird species. Our anti-bird netting is particularly effective for large open areas such as roofs and loading bays. One anti-bird net can be used to protect many perching places meaning Bird Netting is often the most cost effective solution. The anti-bird net system provides an impenetrable barrier that protects buildings without harming the birds.

The bird netting consists of a stainless steel perimeter straining cable, which is normally supported by stainless steel fixings drilled into the structure at regular centers. Our netting contractors then tension the cable using a high quality grade 316 stainless steel barrel strainer and securely attached the bird nets with stainless steel hog rings.

The anti-bird nets are constructed from high density ultra-violet stabilised knotted 12/6 polyethylene which is chemically inert and rot proof. In addition, it offers a high resistance to a wide range of chemical and environmental conditions. The bird netting ranges from 19mm gauge to deny the smallest pest birds entry, rising to 50mm gauge and 75mm gauge to seal off areas from pigeons and seagulls respectively. Colours can vary but generally black, stone and white Bird nets are available as standard.

Our bird nets can be installed stand alone or as part of a greater bird deterrent solution. All installations of our Bird Nets are guaranteed for up to 10 years.
